A Strategic Visit to Abakaliki
The Fortitude Impactful Women Empowerment Initiative (FIWEI) continues to expand its educational footprint across the nation. On Tuesday, the 18th of November, 2025, our team paid a strategic visit to Urban Secondary School in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. This outreach was driven by our core commitment to youth development and was specifically designed to address the critical gaps in modern education regarding character and leadership.
Instilling a Mindset of Leadership
The primary focus of this visitation was a comprehensive Leadership Educational Program. At FIWEI, we believe that leadership is not merely a position of authority but a mindset that must be cultivated from a young age. Our facilitators engaged the students in interactive sessions designed to awaken their inner potential, teaching them that they have the capacity to influence their peers and their environment positively. We emphasized that true leaders serve others and lead by example.
Attitudinal Building for a brighter Future
Complementing the leadership training was a rigorous session on Attitudinal Building. We understand that while talent and intelligence may open doors, it is character and the right attitude that keep them open. The students were guided on the importance of cultivating positive behavioral traits, discipline, and emotional resilience. We addressed the necessity of shedding negative attitudes that sabotage success and embracing a lifestyle of integrity and purpose.

By focusing on public, self, and leadership empowerment development, we are ensuring that the students of Ebonyi State are prepared to face the challenges of the future with confidence and moral fortitude.
